Why can’t I make a different move?

Captures are compulsory. If any serpent can jump an enemy, you must capture. When that serpent can jump again, continue its chain before moving another piece. The tutorial walks through these rules.

How does The Daily Strike work?

Everyone receives the same puzzle for a given UTC day. You have three tries to find the longest capture chain. Your local calendar day may change before or after the puzzle does.

Sound and reminders

Check the app’s Settings for sound, music, ambience and voice controls. Sound also respects your device’s silent mode. Daily reminders are optional and can be disabled in the app or your device’s notification settings.

Your progress and privacy

The current build does not create a Fox Innovations player account. Game records are kept locally; Daily Strike completion and stars may also sync through your own iCloud account. Contact us before deleting anything you want to keep. See the privacy policy for storage and deletion details.

Where can I download the game?

A Cunning Ruin is in development for iPhone and iPad. Store links will be added at launch.
